 The caterpillars have entered the chrysalis stage of metamorphosis. In 7-10 days they will be butterflies. During the chrysalis stage the caterpillar will attach themselves to the lids of the caterpillar cups. After a few days take the lid off carefully and place it in the log holder provided in the kit to get a closer look. 
 For an alphabet scavenger hunt children can go around the house and find things that start with the different letters of the alphabet or they can use this outside and find those letters in addresses or on street signs. I've included numbers at the bottom for extra fun! 
 We are at almost a week since arrival and these little guys have grown so much! Exciting things will be happening soon, check back in a few days to see the next stage of metamorphosis.
